I’m so thankful we chose Grace as our wedding planner. We had considered many planners in various locations, but we knew after speaking with Grace that she was the best person for the job. Grace was our eyes and ears in Bali — a place we had never visited. She suggested all the best vendors for music, food, photography, hair, and makeup. She created a unique experience that far exceeded anything we could have imagined. We cannot believe how perfectly everything turned out. Grace and her team are very responsive and quick to take action to make sure everything before and during the wedding runs smoothly. Grace even thought of options at the venue in case of rain that were equally as lovely as the original plan. Grace defends your interests to make sure every detail is perfect. Many of our guests told us she inspected all aspects of the events and spoke in fluent Balinese, ensuring the staff performed at the highest caliber. We had an Indian-style wedding with a western-style reception. The arrangements were lavish and true to tradition in both instances. Both our western and Indian guests said it was the best wedding they had ever attended — non-stop fun, elaborate decor, an amazing atmosphere, and live music. The venue Grace suggested — Puri Wulandari — was a literal paradise and the perfect backdrop for our sunset Hindu wedding. Puri has a micro-climate that makes it cooler than other places in Bali — ideal for wearing heavy, ornate Indian clothes. The hotel staff were just as helpful and attentive as Grace's team. Her team was able to arrange for every request we sent their way — from niche musicians like sitar and tabla players to specific decor items like Moroccan lamps. Another thing that stood out about Grace and her team was their amazing attention to detail for all things big and small. Her team prepared thoughtful printed cards for the wedding vows, nameplates for the baraat car, and even the sparklers had a little personalised touch. We never ended up using Grace and her team as our wedding planner, as the venue we chose was out of range for Bali Happy Events, but I still felt compelled to write a review. Grace was super helpful and kind from the first contact we made with her. She always responded on WhatsApp, even over the weekends, and was willing to bend over backwards to set a nervous bride to be's heart at ease. She went above and beyond trying to help us find a venue, even driving to venues and taking detailed videos for us, since we were not able to fly to Bali to visit any venues. It was a very sad and difficult decision to make to go with a venue that she couldn't help us with, as we were truly very excited to work with her and see what she could do to make our fantasy wedding come true. I genuinely cannot speak highly enough of Putri and the rest of the team at Bali Happy Events. We held our wedding at Uluwatu cottages and not just the build up but their running of the whole day was just perfect. We loved every minute of the day and we had loads of our guests commenting about how well everything was run. We used Toast as the caterer and opted for a fire dance which were both great.

I don’t think there are enough words to express how amazing and extraordinary Bali Happy Events is. I started looking for planners a year and half before the wedding as I had never visited Bali before and was honestly so sceptical to put our dream day in the hands of strangers, but from the very first chat with Grace, it was an instant connection. Her enthusiasm about each of our events and needs is what made me choose her over all other planners and organisers. She showed genuine interest and excitement during the whole planning and execution phase. Even though I lived in Canada and the time difference was such a pain, she still made it work and guided me as per what my requirements were. Every detail was brought to life and was made better by her and her team! She truly puts her heart and soul in every part of the wedding. The entire team works till late to ensure you have the wedding of your dreams. Her personal touches and gestures will always be appreciated (getting us fresh coconut milk for our ceremony by making it at her own house, what an absolute angel and legend!!) Amelia, the most sweetest kindest soul helped me in all things church related and more! She truly made sure that everything was seamless, from all the legal requirements, to communication with the church, choir and us, rehearsals, to making sure our families were taken care of. She truly was a star! She was always available when we had a question. Her bubbly personality truly made the whole planning process easy and fun. Magda, she brought my vision to life!! Her execution of all the floral arrangements, the guest tables, personalised printings, and detailed touches, were mind blowing. My guests were in awe of all the lights and the way the two day event was put together! She truly has a very creative and innovative eye, she helped me make decisions that I didn’t even know I needed to make and I’m so glad I got to work with her. Putri, the energetic being, she handled all our needs, including the family! She made sure there were no hiccups at the entire wedding. She was around whenever you needed her and I don’t think she said no to anything you asked. She made sure everyone was at ease and was having the best day possible. She communicated with all the vendors so you didn’t have to stress about a single thing. Didin, the most fun bridal help. Even though my bridesmaids were around, she made every moment better and I’m so glad she was with us making us laugh and helping whenever we needed her. To the entire team, I truly thank you for the most magical two days of our lives. From selecting vendors, to ideas and bringing those ideas to life, you made our day exceptional! We had the most magic wedding day. They are flexible in the quotes as we were able to customise our quote with specific restaurants and vendors we wanted to work with and they were able to do all the correspondence between the vendors, regardless of who we chose. I also added some last minute changes and Magda was very helpful in accommodating.

Grace and Magda prepared an incredibly special and personalised proposal for us. They listened and adapted to all of my requests as well as injecting some of their own creativity and suggestions. What's more they got the whole thing organised in about a week! Would highly recommend.

Grace is single handedly the reason we had our wedding in Bali. During our search for a wedding venue/location, we had hit a bump as no planner would give us venue options before signing up with them and paying their fee. Bali was on our radar and we found out about Grace through word of mouth. We reached out and what followed was beyond what we had expected. The first email Grace sent us had a list of various venues along with a rough pricing estimate based on the guest count, including a basic estimate of all the rentals, food, decor, etc. For six weeks, we exchanged emails with Grace trying to find the right venue option for us. The entire time, she was extremely patient as we talked through many of our concerns and she addressed them promptly. After all, planning a multi-cultural Indian-Persian destination wedding entails a lot of considerations! Once we settled on a venue, we were able to quickly secure the dates and start planning! We initially worked with Grace and Caitlin, and then with Magda, Amelia, and Putri. They were always honest when we ran certain ideas past them and understood the cultural expectations very well. They team up with the best vendors in the business and work efficiently and effectively. Grace, Magda, Amelia, Putri, and Surya - if it wasn’t for this dream team of incredible souls, our wedding would not have been anywhere near as epic as it was. They are an absolute joy to work with and we are so happy to have shared this journey together! We could not have imagined a better experience or to have worked with a better group of people.
